Beauty even out of the rocky places

I love when I see a flower popping up through rocks or concrete. It says to me, you can bloom where you are even in the rough and hard places of life. 

When I see a flower like this it also makes me want to applaud. Here is a real fighter. A true victory has been won. It pushed through the obstacles and is still smiling and standing tall. 

When I am tempted to give up, I find myself wrongly assuming that my self esteem must be low since I am so willing to be under such difficulty. But then I remind myself to keep my love on and bloom where I am. This flower makes me remember that in my continuing, I am beautiful.

I needed some examples of Thai flowers. I was planning a series.

After I got my shots, I chose one and worked with watercolors to create a replica of what is so easy for God. 

I decided that I think I like taking photos better. So much faster. 😊
